Aged between nine and 18-years-old? Do you want to be part of the most spectacular pantomime that has ever been staged at Halton Borough Council’s Brindley Theatre in Runcorn?
Perhaps you’d like to perform alongside our professional West End and Celebrity cast? We have an opportunity for you!
We promise to bring you everything you’d expect from a professional pantomime… and more! Dazzling costumes, fabulous scenery and some truly magical surprises are just a few of the things you can expect when you take part.
For the run of the performances there will be professional principal actors and three casts of children’s chorus. The three children’s casts will alternate performances between Monday 10 December, 2018 and Sunday 13 January, 2019 which will include some schools
performances.
This is your chance to perform in front of thousands of people – an amazing experience you won’t want to miss. This year we are looking for an all singing, all dancing chorus of boys and girls who are full of personality and can move well, aged between 9 and 18 years of age.
Auditions will take place on Saturday 30th June from 2pm – 5pm at The Brindley, High Street, Runcorn, WA7 1BG.
Children must be no younger than 9 by September 1st 2018. Parents will be asked to sign their child in and return to collect them at the end of the audition. NO PARENTS will be allowed into the auditions whilst they are taking place.
To audition, you must fill in the enclosed form and bring it with you on the day. The form will also require you to attach TWO recent photographs…passport style is probably best.
Please note that you will not need to bring any audition material with you on the day as it will be provided by Polka Dot. This ensures that everyone is auditioned fairly from the same material.
During the audition we will play some games and teach everyone a short dance routine.
It is important to try your best and show us lots of personality – that is more important to us than watching perfect dancers with bored faces. We are looking for potential and ambition so just try your best and don’t panic – we are here to help.
